Fall Festival of Shakespeare

The annual Fall Festival of Shakespeare is a residency program at 10 high schools in Massachusetts and neighboring New York. Shakespeare & Company directing teams lead students at each school through a language-based exploration of different Shakespeare plays, culminating in full-scale productions at their own schools and then on the main stage at the Tina Packer Playhouse. Providing videos of The Fall Festival has become a tradition, and for decades has been one of CTSB’s primary fundraising activities. The energy and enthusiasm of the participating students make it one of the high points of our year. It also provides a significant source of programming for our education channel.

For the last three years, CTSB streamed the entire festival live on our Education Channel (1302 on Spectrum cable) and on our website and reached thousands of viewers all over the world. We are excited to once again broadcast the entire festival - all 10 performances - live!

This year, for the first time ever, CTSB will no longer offer physical media in the form of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, and instead will make all performances free to watch beginning on Wednesday, November 26th.

This will include not only this year's festival, but our entire digital archive of past Fall Festival of Shakespeare performances, going all the way back to 2005!

This is made possible by the generous support of our members and donors. Please consider making a donation to CTSB to support our mission of providing free, locally-produced, public media to our community and beyond: ctsbtv.com/donate
